In close collaboration with customers, Freedom Studio provides a service aimed at correctly communicating the corporate identity, its product or service, according to the image of the reference target. Our analysis and design process has functionality as its objective.
Our collaboration with customers begins with the brief: an interview to gather information on the history of the company, its market scope and the consumers or users it is directed to. This is followed by an in-depth analysis of the company target and identity, which determine a communication strategy in relation to the languages and tools suitable for promoting the brand (strategic plan). It is following the collection and analysis of information that the design process begins, building on and arising from solid and concrete foundations. For this reason, each project is accompanied by a presentation that allows customers to understand its reasons, methodologies and identity.
In the case of logo design (first manifestation of the corporate brand), this tool, known as brand identity manual (or brand guidelines, brand bible, style guide, brand book manual), is a document that collects guidelines for the use of a brand and for the application of its coordinated image, and has a dual function of both instruction and control that allows the user to understand the design processes and the iconic nature of the company brand.
The rules set out in the manual are binding for internal and external operators of the company called to apply the company’s brand image. Their consultation allows them to avoid improper use of the brand, as they contain both technical data and information on the meaning and philosophy of the brand itself.
